Is Choa a nonprofit?
Take a look back at who we are and where we’ve come from as we announce our vision for the next 100 years.
What began in two rented cottages with 20 beds in 1915 has developed into one of the nation’s preeminent pediatric healthcare systems, complete with world-class staff and a cutting-edge research program. We’ve been fighting for more than a century to guarantee that all children have access to the specialized care they require.
We give access to more than 2,100 pediatric physicians and allied health practitioners throughout more than 60 pediatric programs, and we are consistently recognized among the top children’s hospitals by U.S. News & World Report.
Our system is made up of over 11,500 staff and 10,000 volunteers that are dedicated to making a difference.
We rely on the generosity of our supporters as a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing high-quality pediatric care to the children in our community.
Every day, people’s lives are saved here. Your gift enables us to provide a wide range of essential services, including pediatric cancer treatment, organ transplantation, fracture care, and appendectomies.
