How much does Candid cost?
Teeth that are healthy and well-aligned should not be reserved for the wealthy. Candid is a direct-to-consumer teeth alignment firm that seeks to make braces and Invisalign more accessible and cheap.
Candid’s FDA-approved aligners are 3D printed and developed for persons who require mild to moderate orthodontic treatment. It costs $1,900 up front or $88 per month for two years, compared to $7,000 for braces and $8,000 for Invisalign.

Is Candid the same as Invisalign?
You’ll meet with a qualified CandidPro provider (dentist or orthodontist) for an initial consultation before starting treatment. Digital scans of your bite and impressions are taken. A licensed orthodontist from Candid’s team is then specially designed your treatment plan by the CandidPro provider. Then, using CandidMonitoringTM, the company’s telehealth technology, your treatment progress is tracked remotely (mobile app).
Your treatment will be overseen by the same Candid orthodontist who created your treatment plan. Depending on the severity of your bite issues, treatment can take anywhere from 4 to 12 months.
How Does Candid Work?
- Make an initial consultation appointment with a qualified CandidPro practitioner. Your bite is scanned digitally and impressions are taken here. The dentist will decide whether or not you are a good candidate for treatment (most mild to severe cases are accepted).
- The images will be sent to a licensed Candid orthodontist if you are authorized. They will create a treatment plan specifically for you. Treatment costs vary depending on the practitioner, but on average, it costs $3,300.
- The aligners will be delivered to you within a few weeks once the treatment plan has been created and authorized.
- Each set of aligners should be worn for at least 22 hours per day. Brushing, flossing, eating, and drinking are all possible with them removed. Every two weeks, they are replaced (unless told otherwise).
- Your progress is tracked remotely during treatment using CandidMonitoringTM, the company’s telehealth technology (mobile app). You will not schedule in-person meetings.
- Your progress will be tracked on the app by the same Candid orthodontist who designed your treatment plan. These check-ins can be done from anywhere and at any time. Candid has a mobile app for both iOS and Android.
- Treatment can last anywhere from four to twelve months. Your last set of aligners will serve as retainers, which you’ll wear at night to keep your new smile in place. Every six months, these retainers should be replaced.

How long does Candid last?
Candid treatment is a multi-step procedure that entails a few more measures than simply wearing tooth aligners. Each stage can be accomplished from the comfort of your own couch. Candid treatment plans have four steps:
Starter Kit or Studio Visit
To get started with Candid, you have two options. The first is a visit to a Candid Studio, which is one of their physical locations. The bulk of these are on the East coast or in California, with a few scattered throughout the country. A technician takes a 3D scan of your teeth during your visit, which is sent to an off-site orthodontist. The entire procedure is costless.
Ordering a beginning kit, which contains an impression kit and a device to assist you take photographs of your teeth, is the second choice. Wear Aligners
You can start treatment as soon as you receive your treatment plan and aligners. Aligners are sold in sets and are custom-made to fit your teeth and make progressive modifications. Using the CandidApp, you’ll upload new images as your therapy proceeds. The app’s remote monitoring feature is a significant selling point for Candid, as it enables for remote therapy that other aligner choices don’t provide.
Through the app, your orthodontist will notify you when it’s time to transition to the next aligner. Candid underlines that you should not change channels without permission. It’s also a good idea to keep all of your aligners until your treatment is finished.

Retain Improvements

Does Candid work for Overbites?

Are Candid aligners painful?
