Employee of the Subway: I used to work as a Subway cashier. I suppose the most time-consuming aspect of it was simply ringing up clients when the sandwich was finished. In the back, I assisted with packaging and other such tasks, as well as moving items about. The majority of the time, it was just dealing with the register.
Employee of the Subway: I believe it’s mostly when you clock in and get things ready that you come in. Then it gets a little slower in the beginning. Have some fun with the other employees, but other than that, you’ll just be sitting behind the register, trying to assist the sandwich artists and whatever else they require in the back. Yeah, you’re near the register for the majority of the day, just trying to ring people up, especially as lunchtime approaches it’s getting pretty crowded. You’re attempting to remember everything without messing up any orders, and you’re trying to figure it out. It can get a little frantic at times, but at the end of the day, everything is back to normal. It’s a pretty mundane and tedious task, but it’s also a very repeated task.
Employee at Subway: We submitted a written application. Then I guess I got a call back or was called back for the second half of the interview, which was with the store manager. That was pretty straightforward and unpretentious nothing out of the ordinary. It was a very relaxed atmosphere.

I’m just trying to figure out what you’ve done, if you’ll fit in, and how your work ethic relates to your prior accomplishments. That, I suppose, was the bulk of the interview questions.
Subway Employee: I used to work at the same location as a friend. “OK, I don’t have to worry about bringing in a whole new face into the organization,” the manager said after that referral and trust. At the very least, he has someone who can vouch for him. There has to be something if he’s vouching for him… there’s a reason someone is vouching for him.” I believe that putting his job on the line also helped a lot.
