Should I Do Shipping Insurance On Shein?

It was probably about two years ago when I first heard about SheIn. I was first hesitant, and I didn’t order anything until approximately three months ago, after seeing that other influencers were doing so as well. Okay, this stuff is cute, but it’s also incredibly cheap, so how can the quality be so good?

I’m so delighted I decided to take the plunge after all these years! I’ve ordered about 15 different pieces (mainly shirts and dresses) and have now placed a new order for 16 more. I’ve only had to return three of them: one because I ordered two different sizes of the same item and returned the one that didn’t fit, another because a handbag arrived damaged, and the third because a dress was too short for me (I have extremely long legs compared to my torso, so dresses/shorts that are appropriate are always a problem for me).

1. Always, and I mean always, pay the $1.99 shipping insurance fee. I’ve done it from the first time I ordered, but I’ve heard that if you don’t, returns can be a bit more difficult.

2. If you have a total of $100 in your bag, you will almost always receive free shipping. It’s been like way from my first order, so I’m assuming it’s always that way, but I’m not willing to offer any guarantees.

3. READ REVIEWS AT ALL TIMES. This is my number one recommendation for ordering from SheIn. If I like something, I usually read the first two pages of reviews because a lot of the time, females will upload images of how it looks on them, so you can see how you believe what you’re buying will fit you.

4. Order both sizes if you can’t decide between them. I’ve done this MULTIPLE times and I’m so pleased I did since I’m sometimes in between a small and a medium, and because things might take longer to arrive, I don’t want to have to wait to return one and exchange it for the other size; I’d rather have the one that fits and send the other back.

5. Speaking of shipping timeframes, I normally only buy items that have the “Priority Dispatching” option, and SheIn has created a new filter that allows you to only see items that are part of that option. I’ll tell you that I’ve bought a lot of things that aren’t on that list because I liked them, and they normally take 1-2 weeks to arrive. If you’re not in a hurry and you like the item, go ahead and buy it; if you don’t, you can always return it:)

6. Offers: SheIn prides itself on having even better deals than they already have. They have a lot of discounts, like the one going on right now where you can save $40 on a $200 purchase, which I just did!

7. RETURNS: If you order something and don’t like it (and have paid the $1.99 insurance fee), they will come back to you as soon as possible. They’re currently reworking this section of their website so that once you “confirm your delivery,” you’ll be able to click “return” on your “my orders” page. There are a few difficulties right now where the “return” option does not appear on certain people’s “my orders” pages, including mine, so you just “send a ticket” claiming you want to return something. Once you’ve told them what you’d want to return, they’ll send you a pre-paid label, which you can print and drop off at your local USPS. (Once again, the $1.99 insurance covers your return money all the way to China, so it’s well worth it!)

8. If you return something (rather than exchanging it), SheIn credits “Your Wallet.” You have the option of keeping the money in your wallet or transferring it back to your card (don’t worry, no charges are taken off). I’m not sure why they do this; I believe it’s to encourage you to look for something else, but they make it very easy for you to simply transfer the money back to your card without any hassle:)

10. I’ve never purchased shorts or bathing suits from SheIn, but I have a buddy who has and says the quality is good. The bottoms were too small, but she only cared about the top, so be sure to check the reviews to find out your sizing.

11. Reward System: SheIn’s version of reward points is fantastic! You gain one SheIn point for every dollar you spend. These points work similarly to Sephora points in that you don’t required to use them right away; instead, you can let them grow. When you’re ready to use them, simply apply them to your order during the checkout process to receive a $ discount! If you have $500 in points, for example, you can use them to get $5 off your next order. They also feature a plethora of options to earn more points, including buying, sharing, and so on.

12. Please keep in mind that things happen, no one is flawless, and you may occasionally receive an item that is damaged or otherwise unsuitable, but SheIn is always pleased to exchange or return!

Here is a list of everything I’ve purchased from SheIn, so just click on the photo of something you like to get to the page!

How to contact Shein customer support

Follow this link to contact Shein’s customer care. You’ll be taken to a bot-assisted chat. But don’t be offended! If you ask the bot any question, two more options will show in the chat window: Live Chat and Ticketing are two options for contacting us.

Submit a ticket and check your email for instructions, as well as your Shein inbox. Normally, all orders that are lost are refunded.

How do you shop safely on Shein?

The sheer quantity of things available on the SHEIN website can be intimidating. As a result, having a broad or particular notion of what you want might make for a less stressful SHEIN online buying experience.

I’ve found that using category filters is incredibly handy. I adore sophisticated, glamorous, preppy trends in SHEIN clothes, for example. As a result, I employ those filters to further reduce the number of options available.

You may shop SHEIN apparel by style, occasion, length, trend, color, and more by filtering to subcategories within each category. If you know what trend or style you want, you may search for it using phrases like “balloon sleeves,” “high waist pants,” and so on, and the system will show you suitable items to look at.

How long does Shein take to ship during coronavirus?

The Coronavirus outbreak will have no effect on our shipping services, and we are fully dedicated to delivering your items on time. Express shipping takes 3-5 business days to arrive! Standard shipping takes 7-9 business days to arrive!

Is Shein trusted?

Shein is a well-known online store. If you’re purchasing in the United States, they have a fantastic return policy (free return shipping on the first return package from your order within 30 days).

Where does Shein ship from?

SheIn is one of my favorite sites to shop, as you may have noticed! They feature a huge assortment of current things and designer knockoffs at a reasonable price. (You can really get 7-8 pieces for roughly $100! My spouse claims that I have an unlimited SheIn budget, but I think he’s kicking himself for that decision!) Many people wonder if they are a reputable retailer because the prices are so low. I’m here to tell you that they are! Ordering from SheIn has several advantages and disadvantages, therefore I’m here to answer all of your questions!

What size do you normally order in SheIn clothes?

Sizing up in SheIn is usually a good idea. Most of the time, I order a size large. Sizing larger provides you a little additional length because many of their tops and skirts run short (I’m 5’9 for reference).

What items do you buy from SheIn?

I’ve purchased tops, dresses, sweaters, boots, sandals, handbags, sunglasses, beach bags, and beach blankets from SheIn. The quality is comparable to Forever21 and H&M. (Some of the more expensive ($30+) things have proven to be of excellent quality!)

What are the shipping costs?

SheIn offers free shipping (the website states that you must spend $49, but there is always a free shipping code). Clicking the box to pay $2.99 for Return Insurance is always a good idea. This makes it simple to return products, and they’ll even issue you with a shipping label.

Where are these items coming from?

The majority of SheIn’s products are made in China, however they do maintain a warehouse in the United States. I’ve had products arrive in as little as two business days and as long as fifteen. It usually depends on how many items you get, but if you need an outfit soon, I recommend ordering ahead of time.

How do my items arrive?

Normally, I receive my packages through the United States Postal Service (USPS). If you order a large number of products, I’ve had them delivered via DHL. You will receive a text message with specifics if SheIn is using DHL. I always click the link and select the option to leave the parcel without requiring a signature.

How do I return items?

If you purchased the $2.99 for return insurance, returns are free. (Swimsuits and jewelry are non-refundable.) To make a return, go to their website and follow these steps: Log in to your account, then go to My Orders, then Return Item. Choose the item you’d like to return. You will be given a prepaid shipping label to go to USPS.

Does SheIn have discounts?

SheIn does, in fact, usually always provide a discount. Before placing a purchase, always visit the main page.

I hope this answers a few of your questions. I recently placed a large SheIn order, and I’m excited to show you some of the goods I got below! Everyone have a wonderful SheIn Shopping Day!!!

Why does Shein take so long to process orders?

If your delivery takes longer to process than expected, it’s usually because one or more items require additional processing time. If you need the other things in your purchase right away, you can cancel the item(s) for a refund so that the rest of your order can be shipped out right away.

Does Shein steal your information 2021?

Yes, this is a legitimate business… and a large one at that. This isn’t a phishing attempt to obtain your credit card information. The things you order will be identical to the ones seen on the website. As someone who has placed numerous Shein orders, I can attest to this. From swimsuits to sweaters, I’ve tried it all (some better than others). Shein is the source of all of my outfits in these images. I’ve noticed that the more familiar you become with this retailer, the more you’ll understand how to purchase there and the more likely you’ll love what you buy.
