Alice Cooper and Baker Mayfield star in two new Progressive Insurance advertisements, which you can see here. You can also read our recent interview with Cooper here.
Who is the hot girl in the New Progressive commercial?
Although insurance isn’t usually thought of as a romantic subject, Progressive managed to make it so when it introduced Flo as a recurring character in ads. The now-famous fictional salesperson, played by comedian Stephanie Courtney, hits the perfect balance of amusing and strange. We’ve been watching these adverts instead of fast-forwarding through them or leaving the room since 2008.
Another Progressive employee has recently joined the scene, and her unusual looks and unorthodox delivery have drew us in. Mara sits with Flo at a karaoke club in the 2020 ad “Off-the Mara-ket,” deflecting potential suitors with her back rash, obnoxious laugh, and eager explanations about insurance savings. Mara texts during a business meeting and forgets to silence herself in advertising depicting the work-from-home culture of 2021, telling someone off-screen that Flo is “the one that looks like she’d grin as she sleeps.”
Courtney’s career took off once she landed the role of Flo: she earns $1 million per year portraying the part, according to Celebrity Net Worth. Her ad co-star may now be on the verge of achieving similar fame and money. Mara’s true name is Natalie Palamides, and she’s an actress who’s worked her way up the ranks to become Progressive’s newest leading woman.
Who is Flo’s sister in the Progressive commercials?
Courtney moved to the opposite coast after living in New York for a while and began doing stand-up comedy (see video below).
She and her sister, Jennifer Courtney, who is also an actress, moved in together in Los Angeles. They also wrote a play called “Those Courtney Girls,” which they played in Los Angeles and at the Aspen Comedy Festival, where it was noticed by some television studios (although nothing has yet come of that).
Did Flo from Progressive have a baby?
Stephanie Courtney, a.k.a. The Progressive Insurance Lady, wants to clear the air: she is not expecting a child.
“They placed me in a starched apron, and because I’m a voluptuous person, when the starched apron is fastened…” Courtney explained the confusion over Flo, the overly cheerful and eccentric sales clerk she portrays in the famous Progressive Insurance commercials, one recent day.
Courtney’s little bulge apparently scared Flo fans so much that they wrote letters to Progressive, questioning whether she was expecting a kid.
Courtney stated that her favorite Flo location is the one with the waterfall “Guy with the man bag,” says the narrator.
Who is the voice on the Progresso soup commercial?
John Lithgow is another actor with a distinct voice. Don’t you think his cheerful, almost hyper voice in the latest Progresso Soups TV advertisements reminds you of his over-the-top character Dr. Dick Solomon from the TV show “Third Rock from the Sun?”
Who is Jake from State Farm?
The original Jake from State Farm was not a trained actor, as Jordan Fraser of Medium explains. Jake Stone, a real-life State Farm employee, portrayed the character. Stone was cast as a customer service agent after winning an internal casting competition.
How old is Jamie from Progressive Insurance?
Her true name is Stephanie Courtney, and she is well recognized for her role as ‘Flo’ in Progressive television advertisements. She’s been with Progressive as ‘Flo’ since 2008, and she’s been in over 100 advertisements since then. The Neighborhood Playhouse is where the 50-year-old, yes, we said 50-year-old, studied acting. She has been in a number of films and television shows. However, if you happen to see her out and about, her position as “Flo” will undoubtedly come to mind.
